Quality and secure processes are top priorities at ept. Our continuous project management (APQP) for product and quality planning is fully integrated into the entire product development process. From the outset of our collaboration, we focus on risk minimization and the highest level of quality—whether it’s a feasibility analysis, tooling production, or initial sampling. To ensure early error prevention, we work with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) from the very beginning, taking into account your specifications and our experience.

What is APQP?

Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) involves focusing on product quality as early as the definition and product development phases. It is a structured process designed to plan product quality in advance and eliminate potential future defects during production.

The goal is to identify necessary changes during development, prevent defects, and reliably meet customer requirements even before the product enters mass production.

What is the CPK value?

The metrics Cpk, Ppk, and machine capability (Cmk) describe the ability to achieve a desired result. The Cpk value is the most important metric for describing process capability: it provides information about the spread of the data as well as its relative position with respect to the tolerance limit(s).
