From concept to finished product—our experienced team members are your partners, providing active support and extensive expertise throughout the entire process, from project definition and implementation to completion. We incorporate our knowledge and experience in the field of product development into our consulting and support services. Above all, our development expertise in press-fit technology offers significant added value to customers who have had little or no prior experience with this technology. We act as your partner, collaborating to optimize your sophisticated connectors.
Short communication channels and in-house expertise enable rapid decision-making and implementation. We identify risks early and minimize them. The zero-defect goal, as defined by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), is our commitment. We deliver our project goals with the required quality, by the agreed deadlines, and within the defined budget. To consistently achieve this, we employ a highly professional and robust project management system in accordance with IATF 16949 (APQP) standards. As your supplier, we strive to deliver your desired results consistently and competitively.

Reliable processes in the manufacture of connectors for the automotive industry
Quality and secure processes are top priorities at ept. Our continuous project management (APQP) for product and quality planning is fully integrated into the entire product development process. From the outset of our collaboration, we focus on risk minimization and the highest level of quality—whether it’s a feasibility analysis, tooling production, or initial sampling. To ensure early error prevention, we work with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) from the very beginning, taking into account your specifications and our experience.
What is APQP?
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) involves focusing on product quality as early as the definition and product development phases. It is a structured process designed to plan product quality in advance and eliminate potential future defects during production.
The goal is to identify necessary changes during development, prevent defects, and reliably meet customer requirements even before the product enters mass production.
What is the CPK value?
The metrics Cpk, Ppk, and machinecapability (Cmk) describe the ability to achieve a desired result. The Cpk value is the most important metric for describing process capability: it provides information about the spread of the data as well as its relative position with respect to the tolerance limit(s).
Our strengths: reliability, on-time delivery, and consistent quality
Our customers value and rely on our reliability, on-time delivery, and the consistently high quality of our connectors. We ensure this through in-process inspections based on the results of FMEA analyses and through robust and efficient processes. Should a defect nevertheless occur, we conduct a comprehensive failure analysis using state-of-the-art methods and consistently implement corrective actions.
